Outfit for Valentines Day

To enter Michelle's giveaway  from Daisybutter.com to win £200 from Selfridges and a 1L limited edition Evian bottle, I had to create a valentine's outfit and post about it. I thought why not try to win and treat myself for once in a while. At the same time I can share with you a valentine's outfit that I created. If you are going out for on valentine's day perhaps this post can give you some inspiration on what to wear.

All of these are very affordable except for the small shoulder bag  from Selfridges. By all means, find another bag that's similar to that. I decided to add that in as I adore small and simple Korean-like bags. It's a perfect size to put in a few miscellaneous items. I chose a beautifully textured burgandy dress. I like the cut out on the waist area. It allows you to show a bit of skin that you would not show on a daily basis. Well, I don't and most people don't, I believe. :) To add a bit of glam to the look, I chose a sequinned jacket. It's also for if you get cold during the evening. The black gloves goes well with the dress, it creates a vintage, classic look and I love it. I can definitely imagine Audrey Hepburn sporting this look. I chose Kurt Geiger heels. I love heels as they give a bit of height and confidence. These KG leather heels really go with the dress and it's on sale for £39.00! I would really like to add it to my shoe collection. To finish off, I would accessorize the outfit with these adoringly cute heart earrings and the lariat necklace. The long necklace creates the effect of a slightly slimmer figure.
