I don't normally wear blusher on my cheeks, I always consider then as an extra touch
to a finished look. When I finish my look I then decide whether I want to use blusher or not
and most of the time I leave it out.
When I went to Korea last year, which feels like it was a lifetime ago, I bought a blusher
from Etude House. I just couldn't resist the cuteness of the blushers. I bought this blusher and the
shade is in #7 Rose Sugar Macaron and another which is a tangarine orange colour. I bought those
two because they are the only ones which has glitter in them, the rest are matte blushers.

The color is gorgeous, the reason why I bought it in the first place.

I did a swatch on the back of my hand. You can just about see the pink and the glitter. It is
a very subtle color and so it was pretty hard to capture it on camera.

I use the pom pom, I like to call it that, instead of a brush since it is there conveniently. I find it
good to use though it gets pretty dirty easily. You know, the oil and the foundation from my face gets caught
on it and so it gets brown after a while. The good thing is that you can buy them online for example on ebay.
For me, I would just use a blusher brush of mine to apply it on. It works the same.

It is a pretty blusher and I love it. As I don't use blushers frequently enough I think this will last me a long time. I don't think I will finish it even. I have a lot of products that I don't finish. I vow to get rid of the or finish some before Chinese New Year which is in February. I still have my other Etude House blusher to use. It is such a pretty tangerine color and I hope to show you it soon.
Some of you have already started school, uni or work
and the lucky ones still have a lot of time to spare. Me. :) I hope you're having a good week so far.
With love,
HL

The packaging of this blusher is just too pretty to resist - I want!! :)
ReplyDeleteToo cute ^^ You should buy some online :)
DeleteSuch a pretty colour! And the name Rose Sugar Macaron is super cute~
ReplyDeleteThey always have cute names for their products. ^.~
DeleteI love the packaging! The colour is also cute. I always struggle to find this brand in London and Birmingham, although I know that there is a shop in China town but they're pretty pricy. Where do you purchase yours from? Thanks! And also a big thanks for visiting my blog. I love your posts & i'm also now following you :) Nice to see another beauty blogger from London ^.^

You buy it online from ebay or gmarket I believe. I went to Korea and bought a few last year ^.~ I'm hoping to go again this year. :)
DeleteI love your blog, it's on my blogroll now. :) I know only a few bloggers from London. It's great to have found your blog.
I also purchased this same blush a while back when I was in Korea and loved the shade. The only thing I didn't like about it was the glitter bits but nevertheless, I still like wearing it, hehe!
ReplyDeleteWow, good luck finishing this before CNY, maybe try to wear it everyday? Lol. I've been trying to finish some of my products too - I've FINALLY hit pan on my YSL blush and nearly done with 2 of my bb creams. It took me ages and I used it everyday haha.
I love the glitter bits :)
DeleteI want to finish my old products which are half used before CNY. If I don't finish it I would give them away or clear them out so new products can take their place.
I've got a few BB creams and I've been alternating between them. ^>^
Well done! I saw your YSL blush and I do adore the colour. :)
I love this Etude House bluch and its design is super cute! *-*
